Long trip

Yesterday I started my trip from St.Louis,MO to Arlington VA. I started the trip st 7:00 p.m. then my family and I drove to Indianapolis and slept in a hotel. When we woke up we had breakfast and left. we drove until our car needed gas and lunch.then we drove until 6:30 p.m. By that time we were in Arlington.

vacation Summer

This summer I'm going many places. I'm going to New York City to see my uncle and aunt.I'm also going to Dallas, Texas to visit one of my dads friends and to see two baseball games! After that I'm going to Chicago to see my god parents. And last but not least I'm going to North Carolina. Hope you have a great summer!

Karate bros.

Guess what? My brother, Hayden signed up for karate. Hayden and I are going to have a lot of fun practicing for tournaments.

Things at my tournament

I went to a karate tournament on Saturday. I sparred and did two katas (forms). Above is my bo kata (giant stick). I did very well and I got one medal for it. I've only been working with my bo for two months!


This is my open hand kata, called Pinan Shodan. I've been working on it since I was an orange belt (I'm a green belt now -- that's the level above orange belt). I got a fourth place trophy for it. I feel like I did a very good job.

In sparring, I won one match and lost one match in sudden death (4-5). I got a medal for that, too.

NEW SHOES

Yesterday I got some new shoes. They're Nikes that are blue and white all over.They are great for running and jumping!I got them at Laurie shoes.I highly recommend you going there.

SUMMER

This summer I went to Washington D.C , New York City and The Outer Banks. First I went to New York. I saw the statue of liberty I went to ellis Island and roosevelt Island.Next I went to D.C. I didin't do much there except go to my cousin's house. And last but not least I went to the outer banks! I had so much fun boogie bording ,tuobing and driving a boat!Now that is what I call a good vacation!
